After a couple of months of building and cycling my first aquaponics system, today I finally took delivery of 30 silver perch fingerlings (bought from Aqua Blue, who were very helpful and quick to deliver)

The fish arrived safely in a polystyrene box. They put the fingerlings into a double sealed plastic bag. The bag is filled with pure oxygen, which enables them to survive during transport for up to 48 hours.
