Even big adventurers need to do a bit of house keeping. So after an amazing day at Fraser Island. Highlights being breakfast on beach in our pj's, first time 4WD on beach (me and Steve), amazing views and natural beauty.
We spent this morning cleaning up and filling up. Hit the road and now off to seventeen seventy beach after a quick trip to wollies.

Insights into life on the road. Everyday in the van is like a moment of having Alzheimers, "where is my...." As cupboards get opened and closed frantically.
To wake the kids each morning I open 3 curtains to the lifeless lumps of sleeping bags inside!
I love this picture! And I love this blog, it should actually be renamed Australian Geography for dummies as I am following you with my atlas open. ReplyDeleteFraser Island is soooo beautiful - what an amazing adventure you are having already in just a few short days. My memory of Seventeen Seventy in a carvan as a kid is being eaten alive by sandflies - so itchy I thought I would die. But also such beautiful sunsets over the water. Hope you enjoyed !
