After the stunning beauty of the Cape Range i thought we had done our best snorkeling. But Coral Bay has been just as jaw droppingly beautiful. As the name suggests it's the most magnificent coral I have ever seen.
The snorkeling in the pristine clear waters was breath taking. Kilometres of unspoilt coral made us feel like we were in another world it was like a magic garden under the sea.
The days passed happily with the simple joy of heading to the beach which was just across the road from the caravan park.
We snorkeled each morning and afternoon and walked and played.
On our last day we walked around the bay to see the shark breeding area. The above photo with the dark shadows are reef sharks that surrounded us as we wadded into the little beach.
We all could have stayed forever.
Alas other beautiful places await so off to Shark Bay.
