Back in civilisation after our great adventure at Cape Tribulation where we went on a snorkelling trip out to the Great Barrier Reef but this is what happened first. The Greens arrived at Cape Trib camping in the afternoon on Friday and we set up camp, had dinner and went to bed. The next day we went down a 4 wheel drive track to a water hole. When we came back we were nearly covered completely in mud so we washed off in the river that was running near the car. Next we went to a swimming billabong behind a general store and saw a turtle and an eel! It was so interesting.
The new day brought memories that would be treasured forever. After a long, bumpy boat ride to the reef we finally got into the water and started to snorkel. It was absolutely incredible all the coral, fish and we even saw a turtle eating a jellyfish! This turtle was massive but so kind and gentle. The way he glided through the water so smoothly was absolutely spectacular. Everyone was happy when we finally got back to the beach because it had been freezing cold in the water!
