Litchfield National Park is the wildest place we have been to so far. It is home to so many natural wonders, some of them you need a 4WD to access.
Today we went to Sandy Creek plunge pool. It was epic. To get there it is a mad 4WD track with 10m long puddles and corrugations on the road.
On the way we saw lots of termite mounds. Magnetic termite mounds always face south-north in the sun so the termites can keep cool. Cathederal termite mounds have radiator veins, and use the wind to keep cool.
It was a great day!
