So it's another week on the road with no air con. The mechanic tried their hardest to get our hose but it wasn't even dispatched. Not wanting to waste four days waiting we have ordered the part and will have it fixed in Alice Springs. So it's another week of hot driving and I'll just have to suck it up!!

Poor you Claudes! I did the same trip all those years ago with Anders on the motorbike. No aircon there. I remember it was so hot it felt like driving with a hot hairdryer blowing in your face. I hope the part is waiting in Alice! Xxx
